Masankho Banda from Malawi, Central Africa spoke at Wesleyan Auditorium Saturday night. The event was sponsored by Living Spirit Church and The Center for Women’s Studies.

The night was a celebration of heritage and building diverse communities.

The Women’s Center said he is an International PeaceBuilder, educator, InterPlay leader and healer. They also said that Banda was awarded the Unsung Hero of Compassion aware in 2001 by the Dalai Lama.
