What’s your hometown?

Huntsville, Alabama

How long have you been at UNA?

I am a junior, so this is my third year at UNA.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I love photography and writing anything from music to blogging or spoken word. I love spending time with my close friends and family and living in coffee shops because without coffee I can’t function.

What was your reaction to finding out you were selected for the homecoming court? Why did you want to get involved?

When I initially heard that I was being nominated by Alpha Delta Pi, I was so honored because they are a huge part of making me feel at home when I’m here at UNA. They are all so loving and fill my heart with joy and I have made many memories and many friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Then when I found out I was chosen to be on the homecoming court I was shocked. To be given the opportunity to represent the thousands of students on campus is so rewarding and humbling. That is the reason why I love getting involved because eventually you have those moments in college or in your future where all the hard work you put in pays off. Initial I thought I was just going to go to school and play tennis, but I decided to start getting involved with other organizations, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in college because of the people I have met and the opportunities that come with being involved.

What’s an interesting fact about you?

Something that many people probably don’t know about me is that I’m extremely terrified of mascots. While I love Leo and Una, if they come up to me, chances are I might panic and hide behind someone..
