UNA reports student death

The university confirmed a student death April 15.

 Sophomore William Crawford died April 12 in Iuka, Mississippi, according to the Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.

 “We just received notification that he passed as a result of a car accident,” said Vice President David Shields.

 His funeral was April 15 in Iuka, according to the website.

  “He loved hunting and fishing and also enjoyed music, playing the guitar and his pets,” according to the website.

“Be mindful that the impact of a death may not manifest itself for several weeks,” according to an email from the Director of Student Counseling Services Lynne Martin.
