UPC allocates funds for Caffeine High

The University Program Council voted to allocate $747.40 for the purchase of 101 T-shirts for students to be given out at Alpha Tau Omega’s Caffeine High April 4.

The purpose of providing T-shirts for the event is to jumpstart the Student Government Association recycling initiative, said Spirit Committee member Daniel Thompson.

The job of the Spirit Committee is to promote all types of campus spirit, said Sprit Committee Chairperson Carrie Bailey.

“Promoting campus spirit just have to mean just tailgating at sports events,” Bailey said. “A small number of students are involved in athletics, so we can reach more students by promoting this event.”
