UPC discussed the possibility of a green initiative to promote recycling and other environmentally friendly programs on campus.

“Sustainability on campuses is growing nationally, UNA could use a green initiative on our campus,” said SGA President, Laura Giles.

Throughout the month of October, SGA members will be selling students and the community $2 raffle tickets for a chance to win Justin Timberlake concert tickets and Huntsville Havoc hockey tickets. The winners will be announced at November’s First Friday and on SGA social media.

On November 7, there will be a fall carnival from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for students at the Amphitheater. UPC is still confirming vendors for the carnival.

UPC’s finance committee is planning to host a craft fair on October 24.
