Program council evaluates homecoming, discusses school spirit

At their latest meeting, UPC evaluated the attendance and participation of Homecoming Week.

“Overall, I think Homecoming went well but I would have liked to have seen more school spirit campus wide,” said Lesley Carter, service chairwoman.

UPC discussed ways that they could implement more school spirit throughout the campus.

“We could have more events, like we do for Welcome Week at the beginning of the semester,” said  SGA Secretary KeKoria Greer. “Homecoming Week should be a continuous amount of events leading up to the game.”

UPC will be hosting a movie night featuring the Conjuring at the Amphitheater on October 28. Students who attend may dress up in a Halloween costume for a costume contest.

Members of UPC will be participating in Service on Saturday, Nov. 16.
