Men’s cross country finished fourth out of 20 teams and women’s cross country finished fourth out of 19 at the JSU 13th Annual Foothills Cross Country Invitational at Choccolocco Park Sept. 30.

Men’s finished eighth out of 19 teams and women’s finished 12 out of 19 in the UAB Blazer Classic Oct. 12.

Men’s finished eighth out of nine teams and women’s finished sixth out of nine in their first-ever appearances at the ASUN Conference Men’s Cross Country Championships Oct. 26.

Men’s golf tied with IUPUI for fourth place out of 10 at the Memphis Intercollegiate at the Colonial Country Club Sept. 17.

The team finished fourth of 14 teams at the David Toms Intercollegiate Oct. 6.

They came in fourth of nine teams at the 2018 TVA Community Credit Union Invitational at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club Oct. 16.

Women’s golf finished ninth of 11 teams at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate at the Clarksville Country Club Oct. 2.

They also finished eighth out of nine teams at the Fred Marx Invitational at the Bayou Desiard Country Club Oct. 15. after the final round was rained out.

Indoor volleyball is 2-19 overall for their first Division I season. They went 0-3 in the Jax State Invitational, losing to Little Rock, Jacksonville State and Mercer 0-3, 0-3, 2-3 Aug. 24 and 25.

They went 2-1 in the Chattanooga Classic Aug. 31-Sept. 1. They defeated Tennessee State 3-2, UNC Asheville 3-0 and lost to Chattanooga 2-3.

They went 0-3 in the Memphis Tiger Invitational Sept. 7-8, losing 1-3 to Tennessee Tech, 0-3 against Lousiana Monroe and 0-3 against Memphis.

The Lions are 0-12 in ASUN conference play. They lost 0-3 to Lipscomb Spet. 18, 0-3 to Kennesaw State Sept. 23, 1-3 against Liberty Sept. 28, 0-3 against Florida Gulf Coast Sept. 30, 0-3 against Jacksonville Oct. 5, 0-3 against Stetson Oct. 6, 0-3 against NJIT Oct. 9, 1-3 against Kennesaw State Oct. 19, 1-3 against Lipscomb Oct. 23, 0-3 against Florida Gulf Coast Oct. 26. and 0-3 against Liberty Oct. 28.

Football is 5-3 overall this season. They defeated Southern Utah 34-30 Sept. 1, Alabama A&M 25-20 Sept. 8, Azusa Pacific 37-35 Sept. 22, Mississippii College 34-17 Oct. 13. and Jackson State 24-7 Oct. 20.

They lost to North Dakota State 7-38 Sept. 15, Campbell 7-30 Sept. 29, and West Florida 19-24 Oct. 6.

Soccer is 11-8-1 overall this season.
