Hey chat I just wanted to talk about the Lion’s Den Game Room and share some of my thoughts on it. Can we take a second and talk about how the school is painting over the beautiful art piece in the GUC? I’m talking about the art piece on the wall of the game room. There is no waythey’re just now getting rid of it when I just got here. I thought the game room looked fine just as it is but I guess the school doesn’t…I hope they’re not gonna paint it gray or white and leave it like that. At least give us another masterpiece or something…and you’re probably thinking, “Dude you just got here, you haven’t even been here long enough to care about it…” and you’re right, but I don’t care cause I thought the original art piece was goated. It really brought life and character into the whole space. Honestly, I think that may be my only complaint about the game room.
I’ve only been there once with two of my friends and it was pretty fun. They have such a vast collection of video games available for you to play. According to the website they have like 238 games and I feel like they’ll be adding more games eventually. You could never get bored there. If you ever wanted to pass the time but wouldn’t know how, I’d recommend this place for sure. I know that’ll definitely be my hangout spot in the future. I’m gonna try and go there more often with friends. Now I know I mentioned bringing friends or going there with friends, but you can go by yourself. The other day I saw a guy going crazy on this game, just chilling and having fun. Another guy was just playing on his own Nintendo Switch doing his own thing. So just know you don’t hato go with friends. When I went with my friends we played Uno. Anyways…I could see myself making friends there whether it’s playing games with people or just watching them play. Oh also I forgot to mention they have some sort of Dance Dance Revolution? I’m about to go crazy on that thing. Mind you I’m not good at that thing at all but I’m also not trash. I’m just kinda like okay at it.
