On Sept. 27 Phi Mu presented Bonnamu, a benefit concert to raise money for Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham. The headlining act was The Rockin’ River Bottom Band, opened for by Kings of the Coal. Both bands performed a variety of covers, with Kings of the Coal including “Kilby Girl” by the Backseat Lovers, and “Evergreen” by Ritchy Mitch and the Coalminers in their set and The Rockin’ River Bottom Band performing “A Life Where We Work Out” by Flatland Cavalry.
