The University of North Alabama’s University Program Council announced the theme for UNA’s Step-Sing event, “Once Upon a Step-Sing,” last night.
Omarie Bartee, Productions Promoter for UPC, said “The idea behind ‘Once Upon a Step-Sing’ was ‘What does everyone know?’ right? Everyone knows fairytales, whether it be something like Disney or even different stories like The Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Little Pigs.”
Bartee said that when planning themes like this, they try not to limit the groups and not to repeat themes. They “try to keep it new and refreshing for the teams competing and the students watching,” he said.
Step-Sing will take place during the spring semester.
