As someone who is definitely a gamer, I can say this without a doubt that some games have been ruined because they were made into a multiplayer game. One game that comes to mind when I say this is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Most people say that it was ruined because it was a live-service game (which I can also agree with), but I think the main thing that killed it was the fact that it was multiplayer. Another game that comes to mind is the Marvel Avengers game. These games right there should have been like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and only be single player. The Guardians game allows the player to play as one character and that is Star-Lord. The other Guardians, Drax. Gamora, Groot, and Rocket, are there but only for the sole purpose of listening to their leader also known as Star-Lord who is also known as the player. It made the game easy to understand and, in my opinion, flow so much better. The Suicide Squad game and Avengers game being live service was just not a smart choice. Both games suffered from the fact that us players had to wait however long just for some new content. Live service games also tend to be very repetitive. Both of these games had missions that were literally the same thing over and over and over again. The map layouts were always the same, enemies, goals, etc. I believe that more games should take inspiration for the Guardians of the Galaxy game because it was just phenomenal. Definitely a top tier game that did not and still does not get talked about enough for how amazing it really was.
