Student remembered as “quiet, intelligent”

After being a part of the UNA community for one semester, transfer junior Matthew Beasley died yesterday, according to university officials.
“He was a quiet guy,” said senior Kelcey Richards. “He was very intelligent and an awesome basketball player. His family is really precious.”
Beasley’s viewing will be Dec. 4 from 12:30 – 3 p.m at Winfield Methodist Church in Winfield. The funeral will follow.
