While not related to fall specifically, the local Renaissance Faire is a must-go. You can enjoy classical attire, events like chess and sonnet reading, and plenty of locally-made crafts Oct. 24 and 25. The event is free and open to the public.

This will be my first year going. However, more than one person has told me it is worth going to again and again. With two different days to go and several ways to get involved, this is a family-fun event giving everyone a break from the scares of the season.
