Kenneth Kitts will be officially installed as the 20th president of the University of North Alabama Friday, Aug. 28.

Kitts said he recognizes this is an important event for the university, so he wrote a letter inviting all students to his investiture this Friday.

“I really want the students to understand the significance of this event,” he said. “Not every student gets to experience something like this during his or her college career. It will truly be a day of celebration for the university.”

The investiture begins at 4 p.m. in Norton Auditorium.
