SGA Senators voted down a bill that would allocate $3,362.51 for the purchase of 8,000 cowbells for students and community members to use at home football games.

Because students were not in support of the bill, student senator Nick Lang could not support the bill, he said.

Student senator Skyler Mansell also voiced opposition to the bill on behalf of students.

“They (students) were concerned with us spending that much money,” Mansell said. “They also said they felt like we should start our own traditions.”
