The UNA community was notified Friday, June 28 that Jim Couch, professor of economics and finance, died Wednesday, June 26, according to an email from the Human Resources department.

Visitation will be held in Tuscumbia, Ala. on Friday, June 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted Saturday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with burial services immediately following in Tuscumbia at Oakwood Cemetery.

Morrison Funeral Home will be directing the services.
