Q: Who are you?

A: I’m Alex Lindley, the news/managing editor for The Flor-Ala.

Q: So you’re in a band – music is obviously important to you. Tell me how music has influenced your life.

A. Music is important to me, but I think music is important to everyone, because it influences everyone’s life.

Q: What’s your favorite song on the playlist?

A: That’s tough – all of those songs on the playlist have been my favorite song before. But currently my favorite song is “I Am That I Am,” because I recently rediscovered it after a few years of not listening to it.

Q: Tell me about your favorite artist on the playlist.

A: My favorite artist on the playlist is Peter Tosh. He had a successful career with Bob Marley, but he had, in my opinion, an even better career as a solo artist, which I think is awesome.

Q: Do you have any emotional or sentimental attachment to any of the songs on your playlist?

A: Not really, but I once got a pretty severe speeding ticket while listening to “I Am That I Am”!
