Q: Who are you?

A: I’m Josh Skaggs. I’m the Executive Editor of The Flor-Ala. I’m an entertainment business major with an emphasis in journalism and PR.

Q: Your playlist is pretty lengthy and it’s obvious music is a big part of your life. Talk about what music means to you for a moment.

A: I major in a music-driven major. Just about every class I’ve taken has focused on music. I’m also a 90’s child, so I’m obsessed with 90’s music.

Q: Do you have a favorite song on the playlist?

A: I really like “Amber” by 311. It’s just one of those songs that picks you up when you’re down.

Q: Are there any particular songs that you feel a strong emotional or sentimental attachment to?

A: All of them- they all kind of explain my childhood and my teenage years and my college years.

Q: Were there any songs or artists that you thought about adding, but that didn’t quite make the cut?

A: I really tried to focus on 90’s music, but there were a few current artists I added. I’m sure there are lots of current artists or songs I could have added, but not any off the top of my head that I can think of.
