UNA’s online Master of Business Administration degree program was recently ranked ninth in the nation out of 107 regionally accredited business schools offering 201 online MBA degrees, according to a press release from the university.

The program was ranked ninth for both its quality and affordability. To complete the online MBA program at UNA, the total cost is $11,952, while the national average is $23,918.

“We have been in the top 10 for several years, and we have set a goal to be in the top five,” said Kerry Gatlin, dean of the UNA College of Business, in the press release.

The 2012 list of Best Online MBA Programs was published by GetEducated.com, a site that is considered a national consumer guide to online colleges and programs.

Several schools that ranked higher than UNA charge more for out-of-state students, while UNA’s in- and out-of-state tuitions for the online MBA are the same, according to the release. Were that a factor in the data, Gatlin said in the release, UNA would be in the top five.
