Video games, electronics stolen from ATO house

The Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house on campus was allegedly burglarized April 23 between 5:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. UNA police Chief Bob Pastula confirmed around $2,300 in electronics and video games were stolen from the fraternity house.

The UNA Police Department has no leads in this case, but confirms there was forced entry into the house through a rear door. No one was in the home at the time the alleged assailant entered the home.

“Make sure your doors are locked, and make sure your stuff is always locked up,” Pastula said.

Pastula said this is an isolated incident and is not typical of the area of Florence.

He did not rule out the fact the incident could have been a prank, but investigations are still underway in the case.
