The UNA Student Government Association is hosting its first annual Fountain 5k run April 9 at 9 a.m.

Pre-registration for the run ended April 2. Students can register the day of the race starting at 8:15 a.m. for $15

“The money raised from the race will go towards the SGA endowed scholarship,” said SGA President Cory Hamilton. “They hope to continue the Fountain 5k every year and to have the scholarship available to students in a few years.”

The scholarship will be for students who have a 3.0 GPA, are a sophomore and are involved in some sort of leadership on campus, Hamilton said.
