“font-size: 14pt;”>Our UNA mascots live the high life. They wake up
every morning and give one another a good morning greeting. Una
irons their UNA uniforms and prepares Leo a hefty lion breakfast.
The mascots bathe the lion way and read the morning paper. They
especially love Thursdays when the Flor-Ala come outs.
They watch Lion King during breakfast to remind them to
have no worries: “hakuna matata.” They brush their teeth, and their
manes, and begin their adventurous day together.

day by taking a stroll around campus. They usually take pictures of
all the students doing weird things and post them on Facebook.
Then, they stop by the GUC and get Rice Box for lunch. Lions love
rice.
<span style=
“font-size: 14pt;”> At 2:00 every day, Leo
and Una attend their mascot class. They learn how to be the best
possible mascots and they learn about UNA history. They are very
scholarly mascots and they always make fantastic grades on their
mascot quizzes.
<span style=
“font-size: 14pt;”> A few days a week, the
mascots go to the gym to keep up their lion physiques. Una attends
Flo for yoga and Leo goes to Insania for an intense workout. This
keeps them in shape for when game day rolls around and they have to
perform.
<span style=
“font-size: 14pt;”> The lions wake up with
excitement every Saturday. Their excited roars can be heard all the
way from the sorority dorms. They head to Braly Stadium very early
to put up signs and make sure everything is ready for the game.
When game time comes around, they get the crowd pumped up. They
help the cheerleaders cheer on the team and they take pictures with
all of the admiring fans.
<span style=
“font-size: 14pt;”> The opposing mascots
always try to outdo Leo and Una, but it just cannot be done. UNA
has the very best mascots. They are enthusiastic and they love what
they do. Leo and Una care about the team, the fans, and the pride
of UNA. They define the word mascot. Leo and Una live life to the
fullest every day, and they always put their mascot duties first.
When they go to sleep at night, they dream their lion dreams,
probably about UNA football.

“font-size: 14pt;”> Leo has actually began to write a
book, Finding Your Inner Mascot. It will come out around
the time that MTV begins filming A Day in the Life of a
Mascot. The life of a mascot is a glamorous life.
