A new residence hall will soon be under construction at the University of North Alabama.
“This new addition to campus will enhance the residential experience for our students and provide more opportunities for living and learning in our vibrant community,” said a statement from UNA Housing and Residence Life.
The construction project will temporarily impact some parking areas and pedestrian pathways around the work sites.
According to HRL, approximately 50 parking spaces will be unavailable by mid-October, along with the North Pine Street entrance to the campus parking garage. Access to Circular Road via Lion Drive will also be closed. Access to the parking deck will be restricted to the Circular Road/Willingham Road entrance only.
