Over the summer of 2025, UNA’s One-Stop, located on the first floor of the Wendell Gunn Commons, has now rebranded into the MANE Stop.
In the past, the One-Stop office used to handle questions regarding financial aid, registrar, student accounts and MANE cards. With the new rebrand, One-Stop is now MANE Stop, which stands for Mane Advice for New and Existing Students. Now, staff at the MANE Stop help students by sending them to the direct offices for their questions.
Student employee, Bricen Tapscott, shared, “When they get into those departments, they have more in-depth training and that’s their specialty, whereas we tried to get them as far as we could, but if we didn’t know we would still have to send them and us just sending them directly up eliminates that gray patch area.”
MANE cards have now been moved to the IT Help Desk located on the first floor of the library.
Student employee, Candice Buford, shared, “We took over MANE card printing and everything relating to MANE cards and more of the student accounts side, like dining dollars and things like that, but we do printing and installing MANE cards on people’s phones and access handling.”
Tapscott voiced the help that the rebrand has brought to the workload of those at the MANE Stop desk.
“We direct people to get that direct help, and it takes stress off of us as a team up here.”
There is also a MANE Stop website where those with questions can visit to locate things like phone numbers, emails, and direct hyperlinks.
