About the Contributors

Tristan Gregory, Editor in Chief

Tristan Gregory is a senior from Alabaster, Alabama. She is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminology. She started as a volunteer writer before moving to staff, followed by the Arts and Entertainment editor, and is now Managing Editor.

Tristan intends to be a confident voice that shares stories from students, staff and faculty at the university, as well as stories from Florence as a community.

Trenedy Parks, Former Editor in Chief

Trenedy Parks is a senior from Fayetteville, Tennessee. She is working towards a bachelor’s degree in journalism and digital media. She started as a staff writer for a year, News Editor for a year, and then Managing Editor for a semester. Trenedy is now the Editor-in-Chief for her third semester

Trenedy continues to hope to give the faculty, staff, and students of UNA news they can trust.

Trevor Mickle, Managing Editor

Trevor is a junior student from Jemison, Alabama, majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in Journalism and Digital Media Production and a minor in Music. Trevor is in his third year working with The Flor-Ala. He has served as a staff writer and the arts & entertainment editor and managing editor. Right now, he serves as the News Editor.

Braden Potter, Staff Photographer

Braden is a Junior from Columbia, Tennessee, majoring in Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography. Before joining the Flor-Ala as a Staff Photographer, he spent two years working as the UNA Music Department Photographer.

Braden aims to bring stories from the Flor-Ala to life through photography that is both creative and informative.

Manuela Ludolf, Sports Editor

Manuela Ludolf is a senior English major concentrating in professional writing and minoring in project management. She is serving the Flor-Ala for her fifth semester as sports editor. Ludolf is also a resident advisor, writer for Flow Magazine, editor-in-chief of the Lights & Shadows literary journal, English Club vice president, and UNA Center for Writing Excellence tutor. She aims to become a rhetoric professor and researcher.

Mark Smith, Arts and Entertainment Editor

Mark Smith is a first-year graduate student pursuing an MA in English. He previously volunteered for the Flor-Ala and currently works for Norton Auditorium. After working in the concert and theatre industry, he is excited to work as the Arts and Entertainment Editor. He aims to become a theatrical technical director and professor of literature.

Savannah Keel, Staff Graphic Designer

Savannah Keel is a junior from Cullman, Alabama. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Digital Media. She began volunteering in the fall of 2024 and is now entering her third semester on staff as a graphic designer.

Savannah is excited to help support her staff on the visual aspects of spreading news on UNA’s campus.
