Students will be unable to use multiple parking lots until 1 p.m. tomorrow.
“Parking will not be available at Lot K of the Guillot University Center and in Lot H near the GUC, Raburn Wing and Rogers Hall, as well as in Lot AA at the corner of Pine and West Irvine streets beginning at 11:30 p.m. today, Thursday Aug. 21,” said Michelle Eubanks, University Director of Media and Public Relations.
The email sent out to all students enrolled and employees said that if parking attendants can accommodate you after 11 a.m., they will. Attached to the message is a campus map listing alternative parking options.
The pinning ceremony is held by Congressman Robert Aderholt here at UNA. This event is a 50th anniversary commemoration authorized by Congress, the email said.
“Thousands of organizations have joined the Vietnam War Commemoration Program to honor veterans across the United States and abroad. Events such as this are designed to ensure that eligible Vietnam-era veterans and their families are recognized for their service and sacrifice to our great country,” Eubanks said.
