The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival, set for Feb. 28 through March 2 this spring, is now accepting film submissions.

Submissions can be made through Withoutabox.com. Starting in September, the first of each month will be a deadline, with entry costs increasing with each deadline missed.

The festival, founded in 1998 by the late UNA alumnus and actor George Lindsey, will offer $500 to the winner of each category and a $2,000 award for the Best of State entry filmed in Alabama. Special jury honors will also be awarded in various categories.
