Soccer standouts earned postseason recognition as the Atlantic Sun Conference announced its yearly All-ASUN awards.
Graduate goalkeeper Madison Vukas was voted ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year and secured a spot on the First Team All-ASUN selection. Junior Adelyn Speight was named to Second Team All-ASUN and freshman Avery Stojakovich earned a nomination to the All-Freshman Team.
Vukas, who joined UNA in the offseason, delivered one of the most dominant goalkeeping seasons in program history. The Pittsburgh native led the nation in save percentage at .902, ranking No. 2 in the nation, and anchored a defense that allowed only 12 goals — the fewest in the ASUN.
She set Division I era records for saves with 111, goals-against average with .624 and single-season clean sheets with 9, earning the nickname “Clean Sheet Queen.” Vials was the second Goal Keeper of the Year that UNA ever had.
“Madison has had a fantastic season and thoroughly deserves this award,” Head Coach Chris Walker said. “There are some fantastic goalkeepers in the Atlantic Sun, so I am extremely proud of her for achieving this award.”
